The Village of Alert Bay would like to announce the hiring of Amit Sharma as the new Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Officer, and Deputy Chief Administrative Officer. Amit comes to the Village of Alert Bay from the Village of Tahsis, where he served as Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for two years. Amit is originally from Tahsis, and has spent his entire working life on Vancouver Island. His experience in small communities affords him certain experiences that will be of great use to the Village of Alert Bay.

Amit will make a great addition not only to the Alert Bay Administrative staff, but also to the community. Please join us in welcoming him to the Village of Alert Bay.
