Friendly reminder that the Alert Bay Visitor Centre will be closed Monday, November 27, 2023. For immediate assistance on this day only please call the Village of Alert Bay Phone: 250 974 5213 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Alert Bay Brochures are available in the hallway of the Village Office/Post Office building at 15 Maple Road (less then half a city block away) see attached map for directions. CPR/AED Information Session
Reminder of the drop-in session on Wednesday November 22nd at the Community Hall. Stop by any time between 10am and 2:30pm to try out an AED unit and learn or refresh chest compression skills and be entered for a DOOR PRIZE.

CPR/AED Information Session at the Community Hall November 22nd 10am-2:30pm
3 AEDs (Automated external defibrillators) will be installed in the Village of Alert Bay. 1 at the Boat Harbour, 1 in the lobby of the Village Office/Post Office, and 1 at the Community Hall. Attend this drop-in session to learn or refresh your skills and try out an AED training unit.

U’mista Cultural Centre has moved into Winter Hours of Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM closed Stat Holidays.
Alert Bay Library-Museum are at this time, keeping their hours of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

As we move into Winter Hours of Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm for the Alert Bay Visitor Centre, please note that Monday, September 11, 2023 the Visitor Centre will be closed. Local brochures will be available in the hallway of 15 Maple Road (about ½ city block away from visitor centre) at the Village Office/Post Office building. The doors are unlocked 8 am to 6 pm.
