As planned with the ongoing Sointula terminal upgrade project, there are some mid-day sailing adjustments for Wednesday June 10 and Thursday June 11, 2015 on the Port McNeill-Alert Bay-Sointula route.
To accommodate commissioning and crew training at the new Sointula berth, the following sailings have been cancelled:
Leave Port McNeill Leave Alert Bay Cancelled
11:35 am 12:20 pm June 10 and June 11
1:10 pm June 10 and June 11
Water taxi service will replace the above sailings to accommodate foot passengers. The water taxi will operate out of the following locations:
- Port McNeil Harbour (beside BC Ferries terminal)
- Alert Bay Village Wharf (across from the Village office)
- Sointula Harbour (Rough Bay Marina)
BC Ferries staff will be available at each location to provide direction and assistance.
